Update #6 ·

1St Annual Pink Ribbon Challenge 5k was a hit!!

I would like to personally thank everyone who participated in my first 5 k Walk. I hosted it at Nokomis High School on the track. Kit was a success and plan on hosting another 5k Walk in mid September. This one is going to be a little different.

It's going to be a RELAY. Pink Ribbon Challenge Relay. With Teams of 4. I'm going to use thirst from the 1st Walk and use toilet paper rolls as the batons painted pink. My goal is to sign up at least 20 teams. (4 x 20). 80 people to get walking. I hope that Teams will make up names for themselves and will get a pic. The team with the best name will win a prize, the funniest named team will also get a prize, the wackiest dressed team with get a prize.

My goal is to have 4, 5 k walks a year. 2 in the Spring, summer, fall. None in the winter.

So who's with me? I have 4 really good helpers and they are part of my community walk project. Erica, Tracey and Michelle. And my daughter Abby who passed out the beads for the walk just recently.

Thank you all
Jennifer of My Divine Crystals, Pink Ribbon Challenge

When I was traveling to Lafayette Cancer Center in Brewer, Maine, I found that gas was pretty expensive. I only lived 60 miles round trip away from my Cancer Center. I received radiation with women whom had traveled more than 150 miles away, one way. Gas Cards come in handy for the traveling. My first wig cost $100, and that is Synthetic. A real hair wig costs at least $300. My medicine was…
