Elbaradei's silence in the face of continued repression

Elbaradei, who is now the Vice President of Egypt installed by the coup leaders, has been silent in the face of continued repression of descent. In the early morning hours of July 27 over one hundred supporters of the ousted president Morsi were gunned down near their sit-in location in Nasr City by security forces belonging to the government in which Mr. Elbaradei hold his prominent role. He has not spoken out and continues to support these acts of brutality committed by his government.
