Update #17 ·

Let's Intensify the Fight Against Senseless Animal Killing

Remember Jamie Olson, the Federal Wildlife Services agent who allowed his dogs to tear apart live trapped coyotes? We just found out letters send to his agency from concerned citizens were promptly routed to the trash file. How outrageous is that? https://docs.google.com/a/wildearthguardians.org/file/d/0B69WClhgOm5XQUJQSEhPMFNsT0E/edit

We also learned about other inappropriate and unethical behavior, and cover-ups by the USDA's Wildlife Services, including an agent who shot a very endangered Mexican wolf in January and then apparently tried to conceal the crime. http://www.wildearthguardians.org/site/MessageViewer?em_id=11721.0&AddInterest=1102#.UbDTT-tKAfo

We need to intensify scrutiny on this outrageous agency and end their funding. There are simply too many other necessary programs needed that focus on doing positive things that require federal funding, not the killing of over 3 million animals for ranchers and agribusiness. http://www.aphis.usda.gov/wildlife_damage/prog_data/2012_prog_data/PDR_G/Basic_Tables_PDR_G/Table%20G_ShortReport.pdf

Please join us and sign our letter to leaders in Congress and the Senate. We're tired of seeing our tax dollars wasted. Let's put an end to funding the Government's war on wildlife. http://www.causes.com/endwildlifeservicesfunding
