Are you in San Francisco right now? Come join ILRF in a protest in front of GAP's shareholder meeting (2 Folsom St, San Francisco, by Embarcadero BART (https://www.facebook.com/events/126677634198326/)) - help us send the message, no more death traps!

Since 2005, more than 1,800 Bangladeshi garment workers have been killed in fires and building collapses while sewing clothing for companies like Gap, JC Penney and Walmart. Many of these deaths could have been prevented, but companies are refusing to pay 10 cents more per garment for factory building repairs.A dozen companies, including H&M and Tommy Hilfiger, have now signed onto a binding factory safety agreement with worker representation.

It's time for GAP to join with them, before the next deadly disaster.

If you can't make the event yourself, be sure to invite your friends (http://www.causes.com/actions/1751440-jc-penney-end-deathtraps-join-bangladesh-safety-agreement?open_dialog=inviter) in the area to join us!
