Update on April 18, 2013
I would like to thank everyone once again who visited the page, and especially to those who donated.
This update will primarily shed some light on these funds will be allocated.
Causes works in collaboration with the Network for Good, (http://www1.networkforgood.org, (http://www1.networkforgood.org,)) which is a non-profit organization that directs the donated funds to a registered charity. I will never see these funds; please think of me as an intermediary between you guys and the Network for Good. Once a goal amount is reached, I will contact the Network for Good to submit these funds to the Boston Medical Center.
Originally, I had planned to just submit an amount of $1,000.00 to the Boston Medical Center to help treat the patients who were injured by the bombings. I expected this amount to be attained within a few weeks, but the goal amount was achieved within less than 36 hours. I overwhelmed by the response of everyone who donated, and did write personal thank you letters to those who donated. Because of this overwhelming response, I have decided to increase the goal amount to raise as much money as we possibly can.
