A message from David Yun, graduate of the Goodwill Digital Literacy Program

"Last June I took part in a computer training program at the local Goodwill. Since then, I've started working at the Goodwill branch in San Mateo, California... I have been working hard, am really thankful to Goodwill for giving me the skills to get this job so that I may get closer to my goal of being an automotive technician."

Thanks for being one of the 20,000+ people who have taken the pledge to donate computer equipment that you no longer need to Goodwill® this holiday season!

Rather than ending up in a landfill, your old computer equipment can help to empower someone who has disabilities, lacks education or job experience, or faces other barriers to becoming digitally literate. Many of the computers that Goodwill accepts through the Dell Reconnect program are being used in various computer skills training programs offered by Goodwill. These courses are free and open to the public and are designed to teach individuals how to search online for jobs and develop basic computer skills that better equip them to enter the workforce and succeed in their new jobs.

This holiday season, encourage your friends to help create more stories like David Yun's; invite them to take the Dell Reconnect pledge to recycle their computer equipment through Goodwill.
