Update #3 ·

Update on August 09, 2012

In just eight months, thanks to the phenomenal work of members like you, the Connect For Good community has raised almost $300,000 dollars benefitting ten organizations. I thought I'd share with you just a little bit about one of those organizations – Keep America Beautiful – which is currently part of the Connect For Good sustainability challenge (http://www.causes.com/causes/639835-connect-for-good/actions/1657986?utm_source=CFG&utm_medium=Update&utm_campaign=KAB_Update).

Keep America Beautiful brings people together to unlock the potential of any community through programs focused on litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling, beautification and community greening. In April, Keep America Beautiful promoted its first ever "National Day of Action," rallying volunteers from all over the country to take part in environmental projects in their communities. With a spotlight on activities in 10 cities (Oakland; Los Angeles; Nashville; Philadelphia; Indianapolis; Cocoa, Fl; Shreveport, LA; Cobb County, GA; and Hampton Roads, VA), an estimated ten thousand volunteers engaged in projects that removed litter, revitalized parks, planted trees, established native species and painted-out graffiti nationwide.

Thanks again for being a valued member of the Connect For Good (http://www.causes.com/causes/639835-connect-for-good?utm_source=CFG&utm_medium=Update&utm_campaign=KAB_Update) community on causes.com!
