Share Your Story
April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and we want to hear from you. Whether it's speaking up about a hero in your community, talking about how the "Break The Box" pledge changed how you see and treat others, or sharing a personal experience, we'd love to hear your story. Upload a photo, video, or story on our page and see what others have contributed as well. Sexual violence isn't just a victim's problem; it's everyone's problem. Therefore, we all have a responsibility to come together to end it. Help show the world what Texas is really made of. Share and take the Break The Box pledge (http://www.causes.com/breakthebox) to build a safer and healthier Texas.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their personal stories! Every time we share our experiences, here and out in the world, we raise awareness and start to build a society that can talk openly and without shame about these topics. Your thoughtful stories and photos gives someone else the courage and inspiration to speak up against gender stereotypes and sexual violence. We've reached 13,000 pledges but there is more work to be done. Please continue to share the pledge to your network, watch the Break the Box video and join us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/taasa) to get all the latest news and updates from TAASA.
