A Half Marathon For Addiction
Nick Kaupp Supports The Partnership at Drugfree.org in Memory of Brother Jack.
On March 23, Nick Kaupp supported The Partnership at Drugfree.org by raising funds (http://www.crowdrise.com/jogforjack/fundraiser/nickkaupp/updated#top) for our organization through his completion of The Allstate Life Insurance New York 13.1 Marathon. Nick's brother, Jack, tragically lost his battle with addiction at the age of 26.
In Nick's words, "Jack was a very kind, intelligent, passionate and sensitive person. He fought what was ultimately a losing battle against a terrible disease that afflicts so many."
Nick decided to dedicate the race to both his brother's memory and to the memory of all who have perished from deaths related to substance abuse. He has so far raised more than $5,300 to support our organization and better the lives of those affected by addiction. Although the race itself is over, you can still support Nick and honor his brother's memory by making a contribution on his fundraising page (http://www.crowdrise.com/jogforjack/fundraiser/nickkaupp/updated#top).

Even though the marathon is over we received a $100 donation from Stephanie
Weisbrod in support of the Kaupp Family's "Jog For Jack" fundraiser.
Thank you Stephanie,
The Partnership at Drugfree.org
