By uniting Book People like you, Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is igniting a movement to get books to kids who need them most.
Founded in 1966, RIF is the nation's largest children's literacy nonprofit organization. RIF's highest priority is reaching underserved children from birth to age 8. Through community volunteers in every state and U.S. territory, RIF has provided 400 million free, new books to more than 35 million children.
