The Association for wholistic maternal and Newborn Health , a DBA of Wholistic Midwifery School of So. Cal Receives $2500 Donation for Latino Community Doula Training from The Laurence H. Tribe Chartable foundation
Thanks to the Laurence H. Tribe Charitable Foundation, who donated $2500.00, we will be offering a Latino Community Doula Training in Fall 2012 in Los Angeles. We will be collaborating with community based organizations, Medi-Cal CPSP Providers, Public Health Departments and community clinics to provide culturally and linguistically relevant professional labor and postpartum support for low income Latinas. We will be offering work study and scholarship opportunities for Latino women who are low-income who wish to be trained as doulas. Please contact us for an application.
