Internship Opportunity with PeacePlayers International
Spending this fall in or near Washington, DC? Want to learn more about how basketball can bridge divides, or how an international nonprofit translates the support of individuals like you into a greater impact on the ground?
PeacePlayers International (PPI) is currently seeking a Development and Communications Intern for the Fall Semester to work in its Washington, DC, headquarters. This intern will work in partnership with PPI's leadership staff on a wide variety of projects including grant writing, research, donor communication, writing and disseminating press releases and other marketing materials, online outreach and more. Interns should be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment and responding quickly to new projects or unexpected tasks. Flexibility, individual initiative and a commitment to PPI's cause are musts.
Applicants should be undergraduate juniors or seniors, and students from any discipline are welcome to apply. Scheduling is flexible, but candidates should be prepared to spend at least 20 hours in PPI's office in downtown Washington.
