GRB Grad Alexis Semeraro Wins 2010 Mitchelson Fine Arts Award

Alexis Semeraro, a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School, in Fulton, New York has received the 2010 Fine Arts Award from the Larry Mitchelson Scholarship Foundation Inc.

Alexis will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology in the Fall where she will pursue studies in film animation. Her goal is to become an animator and film producer for a world class brand such as Disney or Dreamworks.

The Larry Mitchelson Scholarship Foundation, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The annual Fine Arts Award has been earned by an aspiring artist since 2004. The cash award is given in honor of art teacher Larry Mitchelson (retired) who was affectionately known as "Mr. Mitch" and taught and promoted art in the Fulton City School District for 35 years.
