New chemical bills COULD better protect consumers and save animals
New chemical-testing bills were just introduced in Congress, and they COULD better protect consumers and reduce the use of animals in testing.
The reforms urge the Environmental Protection Agency to develop more nonanimal chemical tests, but they do not give the EPA much-needed authority to require the use of these tests.
Please stay tuned for info on how you can help ensure this legislation shifts chemical regulation away from outdated animal tests. Also, please invite friends to join this cause!
