Helping Haiti, One Child at a Time

Dear Save the Children Cause Members,

Just minutes after the Haiti earthquake struck nearly two months ago, 13-year-old Carina and her family were left homeless. Her little brother, Achelley, was pulled from under the rubble of their house with head injuries and respiratory problems. Today, Carina and her family live in a temporary shelter in Petitionville Club Tent Camp in Haiti, with food, water and shelter provided by Save the Children.

Carina is a Haiti Hope Child. Haiti Hope Child sponsors are integral to Save the Children’s efforts to lift entire communities in and around Port-au-Prince. Read more about Carina or learn how you can help: Haiti Hope Child
