1.  URGENT! DEADLINE IMMINENT!  Clicks for 2 Official Korean Government Petitions against Dog and Cat Meat Consumption!

Now Translations in 5 languages available – French, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Korean activists against the dog and cat meat cruelty have started a petition campaign through South Korea’s official government petition site. There had been countless petitions through the years, but this one is very special and important, because with 200,000 signatures, the Korean government is required to review the petition demand and issue a response. Moreover, it has garnered 66,000 signatures since its launch on June 17, 2018. Therefore, there’s a real chance that we can reach the minimum number of signatures required for government response. However there’s a deadline – July 17, 2018. Can we get everyone around the world to sign this petition? Let’s get everyone signed so that our voice for the dogs and cats of South Korea is not wasted and we can bring about change for these poor animals, once and for all.   Please click here to sign the petition asking the Korean government to remove dogs from the government livestock category.  http://koreandogs.org/korean-gov-petition/

Here is the second Korean government petition that needs your support.  The instruction for signing it is same as the one above.  English translation of the petition is in the petition itself.  Please sign and share  today:  https://www1.president.go.kr/petitions/281200

2.  New government leaders means new opportunities to bring about change. SaveKoreanDogs.org is working hard on the ground in South Korea, attempting to meet with newly elected mayors of major Korean cities to urge them to end the illegal and horrific dog and cat meat trade. To support their plea, it is vital that they have signed petitions to take with them to these meetings. Will you please sign and share the petition today?
