#TuckerWantsLiberty, sorry but in the red state of Wisconsin we are forced to buy Automobile insurance for everyone's protection. Why shouldn't the same concept apply for Health Insurance? More people buying it should lower costs, oh wait that hasn't happened for Auto Insurance. Insurance companies are the problem. They regulate every part of your healthcare. A woman my wife works with has a mother and sister who died of breast cancer. Guess what. They will pay for a mammogram every five years even with her history. She was denied coverage for that test so she had the mammogram done at her own expense a year after her last one. She has stage one breast cancer. In five years she would have been critically ill. She saved the insurance company tons of money. How about some insurance regulation or a single payer system. Oh wait our politicians are bought and paid by corporate America. BTW Acuity Insurance up the road from me have their headquarters here in Wisconsin. They have the distinction of having the largest flagpole in the U.S. The first pole fell over, but they insisted in having largest flag in the U.S. and now with a 65 ton steel flagpole the have one. They just put a Ferris Wheel inside the lobby of their lavish office building. Is it any wonder people can't afford insurance? It's way past time for a single payer system of healthcare here as 50 other countries in the world.
