The USPS isn't a business. It's a government agency. Yes, it used to be self-sufficient until Congress messed that up. But it's not now. And it doesn't have to be. The post office is in the Constitution, and there is nothing there that says it must be self-sustaining. Every part of the government changes to work with the times, but the Post Office isn't allowed to. No wonder it's no longer self-sufficient. It needs to be funded and allowed to run independently of politics.
