I give props and respect to those who still choose to work to protect Trump even after all the things he’s said and done. I think if you do work over time, no matter the job, you should be paid something. That’s time you’ve set aside to put in the extra effort. Some of these people have families and that’s time they’ve also traded for. I know my step dad, a police officer, has put in multiple overtime shifts in and usually wouldn’t get home till 2-3 in the morning. Sometimes when he is called in, it’s not during his work hours so he can’t get paid. So, no matter the job, even if it’s protecting a controversial president and other government officials, you should be paid for the extra effort you put in. I vote yes.
