Simply cutting Federal funding is not a solution to complex problems faced in these so called sanctuaries. These "sanctuaries" are American cities inhabited by American taxpayers, many of which are students or elderly citizens on food assistance, medicaid and social security. Cutting federal funds to our future generations and elderly who may already have limited options is exclusitory and shortsighted/ineffective policy making. It won't stop immigration. It will only punish citzens. Back to the drawing board. Better policies anyone?
