Settle down, people, and think for a second: There’s a HUGE privacy issue here. Do you want your neighbor to look you up every year and see how much you got for a bonus? After all, you’re a stockholder in Ford and he works for Ford, but you’ll never get to know his bonus amount. What if your neighbor doesn’t like you much and wants to make trouble for you? And do we publish bonuses we give to government contractors? I wouldn’t single out individual employees until I was sure all these contractor bonuses were completely public. As it stands, there’s plenty of people in each federal employee’s chain of command who have a say in that employee’s bonus, and that’s quite sufficient.
