Let's make a Holiday, for the Purple One, to honor him and the musical arts. Let's make a statue of Prince, in the Capitol of Minnesota, enclosed in a structure, surrounded by a Purple Waterfall that begins to fall, like rain, when an individual steps inside it, and then have his music playing in the background and then mix in recordings of his voice where he makes references to his life, his work, his music and his views that all Americans can appreciate. Why? Because art matters, just like Mozart matters to Vienna, so that Prince's art contributes to American Art and culture because Americans value the genius, of one of their own, like Vienna values a genius of one of their own. Because genius like Prince is once in a lifetime, and that was why he existed and called Minnesota his home; to create and share his music and genius with his fellow fellow Americans and the world, all the while ensuring he had rights to his independence -- something we, as Americans, must fight for as well.
