More guns = more crime, more fear, more deaths, more injuries, more over reactions. The common every day citizen in the USA is not trained in firearm use and safety. Why would you "trust" one another to use his/her "common sense" (if any) to make life/death threatening choices? BTW "Common sense isn't that common!" We need to stop scratching the surface by patching the current gun regulations. Digging to the root of any problem is where our money, science and actions need to be focused. If Obama can throw out our former health care for all in one fell swoop, why don't we revamp, gut and redesign our gun carry requirements and laws? Think: Where are these guns coming from? How are they getting into the hands of criminals and non-citizens? Are we allowing and perpetrating the very root of the existing dilemma only to result in many lives being lost to sheer negligence and our own ignorance? Even a tire with a nail in it has to be patched and eventually replaced. Why are we so resistant to revamp obvious gun regulations that are simply failing and need severe replacement.
