With violence beginning to rise again in Northern Ireland thanks to the Brexit uncertainty, we must show our support for upholding the Good Friday Agreement. This is not a hypothetical situation; it's an emergency. A young journalist, Lyra McKee, was shot and killed as she was covering the riots in Derry - this year, 2019. We can't undo the harm the Brexit uncertainty has caused or bring Lyra back, but we can help secure a safer future by pressuring our allies to uphold what so many died to create. Maintaining the Good Friday Agreement is vital to protecting the fragile peace and preventing a new era of the Troubles.
