This would be fine if all states were required to have to same process and regulations to obtain a conceal and carry permit, but it's not. Standardize the rules and of course it would be fine in other states, but right now it's easier to get a permit in some states than others. If you obtained your permit it one state and then travel to another with stricter laws where you may not have been eligible for a permit then you shouldn't be allowed to carry in that state. You'd be breaking their laws. It's the same reason you have to get a separate fishing/hunting license for each state. Perhaps people could apply for a temporary carry permit in each state as they travel if it's really that important to them. Or we could just standardize the process so the permit is valid across the nation.
