I am against this, with some hesitation. There is already a collective bargaining agreement regarding firings. This bill erodes the unions ability to have rights and removes any type of worker protection or ability to file grievances. However, rather than a bill, perhaps there should be some negotiating with the union to make it easier to fire employees who are not performing quality work. There needs to be some clarification of this bill to make it clearer how employees should be treated in the VA and other government agencies.
