Like all Obama and Hilary-ous policies, the problem now is akin to putting the grenade back together after it went off. The troop withdrawals years ago created the problem, now we would ask valiant service men and women to go fix up the blast zone. Oddly, the best argument for not using military force now is that the catastrophic mess might be beyond military solutions now. The alternatives being, of course, really, really bad as well. The Russians and their puppet Assad can probably bring the situation under a degree of "control," but nobody concerned with humanity will like the way they have to do it.
