As much as I hate to vote in favor of this it is for good reason: a precedent has to be set for recognizing the laws of varying states. For example, the trans community is very differently regulated state-by-state and it must be respected when they travel to ensure they are protected. It also can be used in the ongoing battle of marriage equality. Although the Supreme Court has ruled, states have not given up in their fight to ban gay marriage. This would be a good precedent to have in that situation. Also, I hope the process of receiving a conceal-and-carry license becomes more strenuous, and Gun control follows suit.
