As someone said before me: "This will give states more authority to spend federal money as they see fit. This means each state can specialize their programs to meet the demands of their local economy." That is what the bill says, not my interpretation. People who want to cry wolf over the big, bad federal government are stalling progress. Every time there is an issue involving the feds people come out to say that it isn't their jurisdiction, instead of focusing on the matter at hand. which in this case is CTE programs. If you want the states to have so much control that they all have their own standards and curriculum then that's fine, but don't make everyone else who wants a national standard suffer with you.
