This seems like a foot-in-the-door bill. Web hosts that allow users to share content can now be held accountable for their users' content? Where do we draw the line? The bill has been found in violation of the First Amendment in many forms, from the Communications Decency Act of 1996, to the Child Pornography Protection Act, from the Child Online Pornography Act of 1999, to the Child Internet Protection Act of 2003. It seems that all you have to do to pass a bill limiting speak is toss in the idea of child porn to get it to either pass or make the ones seeing the loopholes as monsters.
