A decision so monumental and consequential as declaring war or assasinating another country's leadership should always be vetted through the safest and most representational body of our government. War should have many good brains and consciences deciding what is best for us and for the world. Even if I thought our president was the best, most thoughtful and judicious person in the world, I would want war acts to be a group decision made with our congress who we elected. Every action has an opposite and equal reaction. It is naive to think that killing a leader won't result in much back lash to the killer. And that is why our founding fathers who were not exactly dumb, made our congress responsible for war decisions. They did not right Donald Trump into the Constitution except as the rare example of the reason the founders were determined to have three CO-EQUAL branches of government. They feared an impulsive, power-grabbing and reactionary president. Here we are.
