Despite the history about this flag to which I don't agree with, as it provides memories that most Americans don't want to revisit, the flag is protected under the first amendment. Therefore, if people want to display their own confederate symbols on their loved ones graves, then allow them to do so because they have the right to. However, when someone tries to display that same flag on a pole, Capitol ground, or any other public place that is not intended for individual purpose, that is where I believe the flag should be taken down. It's a pointless issue with a simple solution.
