Education is vital. However I find it extremely unfeasible to provide free college tuition for four year public institutions. Now look, were we talking about two year community colleges then maybe we could figure something out. Obviously it would be a lot more cheaper than four year colleges. Additionally it would allow individuals to pursue as Associates degree for free (providing them with ample job opportunities), and allow them to make an educated decision as two whether pursing a bachelors is something they want or can pursue. It's really not the federal government's job to hand out free bachelor's degree in the first place. And in a way, it also devalues the overall significance of higher education should one not need to invest in it. Ultimately my final conclusion is this: FREE (TWO YRS) COMMUNITY COLLEGE: YES, FREE FOUR YEAR PUBLIC UNIVERSITY: NO
