Should the Electoral College be Abolished & the Constitution Amended to Elect the President by Popular Vote?

The founding fathers never intended that the constitution would be sacrosanct. It is a living document. The strict constructionists, the Federalists, need to change with the times. stop living in the past. Ammend the constitution.
