Should Deported Parents & Spouses of U.S. Citizens Get a Pathway to Citizenship?

Separating families is cruel. I support the major thrust of this bill. However, I am unsure the usefulness of the 4 year stipulation. What happens to parents and spouses who are deported in the future?
