This bill would prohibit the display of the Confederate Battle Flag at national cemeteries operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Currently the VA allows the Confederate Battle Flag to be displayed on Memorial Day and Confederate Memorial Day — as Memorial Day was originally created to honor American casualties of the Civil War.
