Absolutely not: it is a horribly cruel and inadequate piece of legislation that will harm millions of Americans by disallowing pre-existing conditions which likely affect a majority of the population and is forecast to severely raise costs for the middle class and those who can ill afford it. It speaks volumes that members of Congress are exempt from this act and will enjoy far better coverage than the citizens they represent. A final note: a Republican US senator was quoted as saying that those people don't need healthcare coverage- instead they need to go to church. Unbelievable. NO on the AHA until or unless it is better than the ACA. Republicans are ramming this through without the budget office reports on the bill and in many cases, without having even read it- it is an act of retribution against the former president and Democrats. Shame on them!
