This administration has to do a much better job of using well tenured, and educated experts in the field of economics and some awareness of historical results. One basic premise our economic success was built on was competition using the best labor, training, culture, business models and automation. The leadership in those business’s and labor movements failed to see the shifts happening and did not adjust their plans. That is not solved by tariffs. We require congress oversight and collective decision making, to remove the risks of poorly thought out ideas being used by this administration. The tariffs being removed is the first step, but a bandaid to the source of the problem.
