The United Nations was established by the United States and its allies 83 years ago. The Allied leaders after WWII were more sober and saner than now, given that they had endured the worst global conflict in history. Despite the UN’s many shortcomings, the UN remains the one platform that enables both large and smaller countries to air their grievances. Remember 1962 when the US presented the Soviet Union and the World with clear photo evidence of USSR missiles in Cuba?
And the major countries should maintain their veto power. Otherwise, they might very well do what this bill suggests.
