I don’t know how effective this will actually be in stemming an attack on our voting process. But yes, people who attack our ability to create our government should be at the very least snubbed. At the same time, our own government, both state and federal, should do all they can to make access to voting accessible and practical for every citizen of legal voting age. We should have polling places in every neighborhood. If voting day isn’t a federal holiday, voting needs to be something you can do easily before or after work, or on your lunch break, with no dock in pay if you get back late. This is important. This needs to be a government of ALL the people.
