I understand that congress doesn’t know everything about everything, knowledge is important in passing any law; but, lobbying has gone way past informational. It has become what the Constitution explicitly forbids, special interests; laws under the Constitution can only be passed for the GENERAL WELFARE, never for special groups. Even say federal dollars going to help relief in Houston or Haiti, is a special interest, that’s for a state, or private charity. And one can’t argue, that maybe someday, Houston taxpayers may be forced to pay for relief of a Minnesota tornado. General laws only. Lobbyists want laws to benefit their firms, or harm others. That’s not Constitutional.
