Why does the legislature keep rushing to shove through major legislation? The ACA needs to be fixed with input from both parties. This legislation is not supported by the healthcare industry, doesn't allow sufficient time for states to set up exchanges and is down right mean spirited. I have no confidence in the state of Missouri moving as quickly as this bill would require, and "rewarding" them for turning down federal assistance under the ACA, to the detriment of this state's population, is foolish. The MO state legislature can't even pass a law to allow our IDs to meet federal requirements, so we should entrust our well being to them? State's rights has its limits, and this bill is short-sighted.
