I would like this regulation to be standard in the private education realm as well. My adult niece "taught" Spanish in a Christian school last year, despite having no background in Spanish! She took Rosetta Stone instruction along with the students. Private school students are in their respective schools at the whim of their parents. These students are under the age of eighteen and deserve the same protection as public school students. *Without this regulation, children run the risk of being "babysat" by unqualified persons instead of being taught by qualified professionals.
