Please do not eliminate the Environmental Protection Agency. This environment is the only one we have and the elimination of a vital body working to protect our quality of life is shortsighted and misguided. Just because I wasn't alive when blowing your nose left the tissue black, when the Cuyahoga river caught fire, or when we didn't understand the wide ranging and long lasting effects on public health of poor environmental management doesn't mean that I want our nation and our health to return to that point. Eliminating an agency because of a perception of overreach or over-regulation does nothing to address the root problem.... and it may simply be a problem If perception. If a window appears to have a crack, it is wiser to look closer at the window, and repair it if needed, rather than throwing a brick through the window.
