I am not against abortion from a religious perssepctive. Rather, from a scientific one. I've been seeing the development of a child in images starting way back from when I saw the first photos maybe in the early '60s by a photographer whose name I wish I could remember. Just from photography, we see a person. viable, maybe not, but none of us are viable, if you will (If the farmers don't farm us city dwellers will starve) . A woman certainly has a right to do as she will with her body, but that tiny person inside her isn't her body, That person is just attached to her. After a child is born the umbilical cord is still attached but the child is then considered a person. What's the difference before birth? A breast feeding child is physically attached to her mom. We are all emotionally attached to our mothers all our lives. But we are not our moms. Instead of funding abortions, let's fund single moms, equal rights for women, legislate and enforce equal pay for women, good public education for our children, free college or skills training.
