In other words, a GOP bill looking to formalize the requirement for IDs etc nationwide to vote. Even though there has been no data to support that voter fraud is a large problem. They just want to make it as difficult as possible for minorities and the poor to vote. Mainly because when those people vote, Democrats win. So in normal GOP strategy, rather than fix their issues by representing every day Americans, they would rather make it harder for people to exercise their rights. Several courts have already struck down similar voter ID laws and this is no different.
