The bill addresses a good idea. All calls to the VA hotline should be answered promptly. It is not clear if they are being properly answered or not. Apparently the VA has no tracking system to "prove" to Congress what is going on. The bill requires the VA to implement one. However, it does not provide resources to acquire needed tracking software and for staff training. It is just another Congressional un-funded mandate. When it is funded, l'm for it; until then, I am against it.
