1) If you refer to human beings as "illegal," you are racist, even if you claim to not be. Objects can be illegal; people are undocumented. Use your words correctly. 2) If the administration claims to be targeting only criminals, they should do so and not punish the people who willingly submitted all of their papers and information to the federal government to obtain this status. Don't be hypocrites and use this information against them after the government gave their word of protection because that objectively makes you a piece of scum. 3) The majority of DREAMers are paying taxes and seeking higher education, which means they are adding valuable things to our society and the communities in which they live. 4) Our economy will collapse if you deport non-criminal undocumented people. Have you looked at the multiple studies where farming communities only allowed documented workers to work? The farms collapsed because those were manual labor jobs that NOBODY else would do for that low of pay. Even when jobs were scarce, those "hardworking Americans" you love to talk about chose unemployment over farm labor jobs because they couldn't handle them. That isn't theory or projection; this actually happened. Go read. Undocumented workers aren't "stealing our jobs"; they're doing work that nobody else will do that won't get done otherwise. Also, if you don't want people to "steal your job," go back to school and get a higher degree. There are enough racial stereotypes and roadblocks to accessing education for undocumented students that if they're really taking your high-paying job, it must mean they are far more qualified and competent than you are. Either way, your complaints make you sound like a whining idiot.
