This is a no-brainer. When programs are proposed that could benefit the American people, such as healthcare, the question always arises: "How are you going to pay for it?" This question is proposed as a fear-mongering tactic because the healthcare proposals are accompanied by ideas for paying for it. Here is one great example. Why in the world should a billion dollar industry be eligible for non-profit? Reevaluate this. For me, the motivation of certain members of congress to address this issue is irrelevant. It's the sort of sideshow move many of their constituents will fall for; it's dumb and downright comical.
