Of course, no one wants to have an abortion- nobody wants to find themself in that position having to make that difficult decision. But overwhelming statistics show that the majority of women who do find themselves in this position are the women who could not otherwise support the baby, not to mention pay for prenatal care and time in the hospital for birth. The foster care system in this country is broken and children are not being raised in homes. We have the scientific advancements to prevent more children from being added to this glut, before the embryo develops beyond a cluster of cells. A woman's right to make this decision is crucial for her own well-being, but it is also good for our country and economy as well.
